Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, Marlboro (on top of Hogback Mountain)
Among the exhibits featured at the Museum are mounted specimens of over 600 native New England birds and mammals in 100 small dioramas, one of the largest collections of its type in the Northeast. Also see live hawks and owls, and learn about the natural history of these raptors. There is also a woodland pond display that includes live frogs, turtles and fish.

During the warmer months there is a demonstration working bee hive, a live spider and insect collection, snakes and regional flowers.

Vermont Institute of Natural Science, Quechee
Located next to one of New England's natural wonders, the Quechee Gorge, the VINS Nature Center includes a state-of-the art Raptor Exhibit, displaying one of North America's finest collections of birds of prey. Visitors can now get eye to eye with Snowy Owls, Peregrine Falcons, Red-tailed Hawks, Bald Eagles and other birds of prey. From May to October, visitors can also see a variety of raptors demonstrating their flying and hunting skills during our Predators of the Sky Program. During the November to April season, visitors can gain an up close view of these majestic birds on guided tours of the raptor enclosures.
